strategy implementation
A well developed strategy merits a well executed implementation to ensure that the planned benefits of an individual project or project portfolio are delivered.
The Senior Executive (Project Sponsor) has a responsibility to ensure appropriate governance arrangements are in place and that any areas of risk are identified and preventative action undertaken. The experienced executive will verify this through a well-timed independent assessment known as a Project Health Check.
The Project Health Check is a prudent step in strategy implementation and a pre-emptive approach to managing risk. It is a short, sharp independent assessment by a trusted adviser who has an accomplished track record as an executive level Project Sponsor and Project Director.
The Project Health Check is often initiated by a Senior Executive as a:
- Due diligence on a project portfolio when appointed to a new role in the business which includes the role as a Project Sponsor,
- Review of an individual project prior to the implementation phase when there is a step increase in resources, expenditure & risk.
Our consultants can perform a Project Health Check for your project portfolio or individual project and provide you with an executive level risk analysis and recommendations for preventative action.
