Simon is an accomplished financial markets professional and business strategist with extensive sales, management and leadership experience. He spent many years working in a Corporate Advisory role for Westpac and St George Banks, consulting and selling product to top tier corporate and key clients; prior to moving into the field of value consulting, he held the position of Managing Director at a boutique financial markets firm based in the heart of Sydney CBD.
Simon has also represented major banks and corporations as a guest presenter, technical expert and commentator on various mainstream media channels including Sky News, CNBC, Reuters and Channel Ten.
Practical business experience has seen Simon rejuvenate ailing business units as well as design and deliver on the necessary architecture for new growth strategy and enterprise initiative at Corporate, Business and Operation levels.
Technical specialties include corporate finance, debt-advisory and the structuring of business strategies to mitigate risks and exposures to interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity, carbon and energy markets. Simon is also well equipped to deliver on strategic growth, fostering the culture for high performance teams, financial dynamics and the drivers of superior financial performance.
Simon holds a first class MBA (Distinction) from the Graduate School of Management at the University of WA, a Diploma in Financial Services, is an AFMA Accredited Individual and a BSc in Economics and Politics (Southampton University). He is passionate about delivering value and committed to outcome.
